Detailed Service Information

  • Conventional Veterinary consultation and medication

Every new patient is given a thorough examination using western and eastern medicine diagnostic methods. A diagnosis is derived using observation, history taking and palpation of the body.

In the first visit, the 30-45minutes consultation allows a new patient to settle down as well as feeling comfortable enough to be touched and worked on by Dr Karen. If the pet has a previous history of chronic health issues and require long-term conventional medication concurrently with the alternative healing, this could be arranged either through Dr Karen or your preferred veterinary clinic. It is the vision of Chinese Vet Holistic Healing to provide animals in Adelaide with an integrative medicine approach towards health care. Referrals could be made if necessary to other providers for diagnostic imaging, blood testings, surgery and branches of alternative healing not offered by us. The aim is for each animal to receive the best veterinary care options.

  • Puppy & Kitten Vaccinations and health check

Welcoming a new puppy to our home is one of the celebrated events of our lives. It is also the time to ensure your puppy has all the appropriate vaccinations during its development.During the puppy consult, owners are offered guidance in feeding a diet that will benefit the lifelong health of your puppy. Hippocrates once said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Annual health checks are highly recommended for every pet. The usual veterinary practice norm is an inclusion of annual vaccination, we however prefer pets to be vaccinated only where there is a need and therefore offer an antibody-titre test to check if the body produces sufficient antibodies against the usual vaccinated diseases. Please contact us in advance if you are interested to let your pet have that included in the annual check-ups.
